Released on February 14, 2025, the film opened to a thunderous response, particularly in Maharashtra, where its business skyrocketed over the opening weekend. Riding on the massive wave of appreciation and audience demand, Chhaava quickly raced past the Rs. 100 crore mark in Mumbai alone, firmly establishing its dominance at the box office.
By the end of its first week, Chhaava had not only crossed Rs. 200 crore at the domestic box office but also set its sights on the Rs. 300 crore mark, which trade experts predict could be breached by the end of its second weekend. Additionally, Central India raked in Rs. 8.85 crore, contributing 3.6% to Chhaava’s staggering domestic collection.
